Andrew's First Concert!

Andrew had his first concert last Wednesday ( January 25). The kindergarteners were singing the Stranger Song with Steve James himself who wrote and perform the song.

Steve James’s fun, catchy, moral tunes for children have been created to positively affect the lives of children, families, and communities by developing character-building products and services. He loves to spread his great messages by appearing in concert for millions of people throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan, and Central America.

100 Days Of School

Andrew's 100 days of school was January 25. As part of the celebration he needed to make something out of 100 items. We chose 100 rubber bands and made a long chain. We had fun doing it!

It hasn't snowed a lot this winter and the boys had been looking forward to play in the snow. So when it finally snowed a few inches on January 7, the boys were very excited to shovel and play in the snow. They even built a fort. We're grateful for the snow.

We did the character dining again on Monday night (Dec 26) @ Goofy's Kitchen. Goofy's kitchen is the same building as our hotel room and it is very convenient for us to go there and their food is pretty good too. We met and greeted Goofy, Alladin, Minnie, Snow White, Chip, Pluto, Dale and Captain Hook. Another great day for our family!

Christmas Trip-Day 4

We spent the day @ Disneyland. The park was packed as usual but we did everything we wanted to do and had so much fun!

We went out of the park a lil early since the boys wanted to go swimming. The water was a little bit cold but they didn't mind. Andrew and Aaron loves swimming.

Day 3 of our vacation, we spent most of the day at the California Adventure. The boys enjoyed a lot of ride and we had pictures with some character.

We watched the World Of Colors at night. It was fantastic and we enjoyed it a lot. We had a long day filled with fun today .

Dining with character @ Goofy's Kitchen on Christmas Eve. The boys had so much fun meeting with Goofy, Minnie, Pluto, Chip & Dale, Princess Aurora & Belle. Though it was a pricey the food was really good and watching the boys had so much fun with them was worth even more than the price we paid.

Our exciting day has began. We're heading to Disneyland! We gonna spend Christmas there. The kids are so excited. It would be a fun vacation!

We put up our Christmas tree last Wednesday. The boys has been bugging me to put it up so we did it during thanksgiving break. We have 2 trees, upstairs and downstairs and the boys had so much fun hanging the ornaments.

We invited our friends Elsa and her daughter Janelle to join us on our thanksgiving feast. We had a great Thanksgiving last Thursday. Heavenly Father has blessed us tremendously and there's so many things we're thankful for!

We watched Disney On Ice on November 12 together with our friends Elsa and Jannelle. We had so much fun and the boys enjoyed the show a lot! We got some seat in front of the stage and it was nice watching the characters so close.

First Snow

My daughter Abish,
It is one year today from the day we said goodbye to you. As i did for your brother Ammon, I want to write my message to you on what would have been your first birthday.
Much has happened during this past year, some good and some not. But all of it effected by our memory of you and your untimely passing. Each important event that passes leaves me imagining what it would have been like if you were here with us.
My thoughts turn to you much more often than anyone knows, and I find myself reliving the day of your birth over and over. I recall each detail and the feelings of that day flood over me as if it were now. I review the words of your blessing and the feeling of Love that filled me as I gave you your very special name. I wish each time I recall that prayer that I could have called upon the powers of heaven to breath life into your failing body. Those words were not to be. Heavenly Father would not give them to me to speak.
When your brother Ammon passed I found myself focused more than ever on being a better father for your brother Andrew and then later Aaron. Your passing has given me a determination to fight with all my heart to keep our little family together. This is the only way I know to guarantee we will all be able to be together again and that is my singular desire. Having given you back to Heavenly Father's care, I must now do all in my power to bring us all together so that we can reunite as the Eternal Family He has made of us.
Though I miss you every day, I will always be gratefull for the memory of the moments we spent together. The strength you have given me to press on in spite of all obstacles. The spirit that you brought into that room the moment you arrived. Those will always be sacred moments when the veil between Heaven and earth felt so thin. I will always remember the feeling of your tiny body in my hand, and how your presence effected everyone who entered that room. And most of all I am grateful for the knowledge Heavenly Father has given me to know who you and your brother were and why you did not stay here with us. This gift has brought me a peace that I could not have gained in any other way.
I must close for now, but please know sweet Abish that you are in my thoughts daily, and my heart eternally. We will be together again and it will be a glorious day for all of us. I look forward with anticipation to watching you grow to your full stature, and seeing the joy in your mother's eyes as she finally has the chance to be all that she dreams of with you and Ammon.
Abish, I Love You now and for all eternity. Watch over us.

Ammon would have been 4 on October 22. We miss him everyday and love him dearly. Happy Birthday little guy!

From the cemetery we drove down to the Canyon to see the fall leaves. The boys had fun playing with the leaves.

After going to the canyon we had dinner and when we came home we had cake. Wished Ammon is with us.

Carving Pumpkin

Last Friday (Oct 21), we were carving pumpkin that we picked from the pumpkin patch. Aaron wanted his pumpkin to be a blue puppy and Andrew was spider. We also did footprints for Ammon and Abish. We had fun that night.

Each year, to commemorate Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness month, Share holds the Walk to Remember. The event gives parents and families a wonderful opportunity to remember and honor their babies. The Walk to Remember is held in memory of all babies who are gone too soon. We walk in memory of the steps they will never take.

After the walk, we let the kids play at the park...

Pumpkin Patch

We went to Black Island Farms last Monday for our family home evening. We went for a hay ride and picked our own pumpkin. We had so much fun especially the boys. They can't wait to carve the pumpkin they personally picked.

Fire Prevention

October 9-15 is fire prevention week and Clinton City does an open house on the first week of October. We were there last Thursday (October 6) and that was our second time to be there. The boys had so much fun and they especially enjoy the fire truck ride.

General Conference Weekend!

We love General conference. We're always well fed spiritually and temporally... I always prepare a yummy breakfast. On the second session we did the snack attack to get the boys settle down while watching conference.

Andrew just got accepted at Quest Academy (charter school) on September 7. After getting all the paperwork needed he started school on September 9. They wear uniform. Andrew is so excited!

Labor Day Weekend 2011

We were out of town on Labor Day Weekend! We went to see a few places and had so much fun!

Our first stop was the Monticello Utah Temple. Another beautiful temple we've seen.

Then we drove down to Four Corners Monument. This is the only place in the United States where four states intersect at one point: Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and Colorado.

Arches National Park

Arches National Park preserves over 2,000 natural sandstone arches, like the world-famous Delicate Arch, as well as many other unusual rock formations. In some areas, the forces of nature have exposed millions of years of geologic history. The extraordinary features of the park create a landscape of contrasting colors, landforms and textures that is unlike any other in the world.

Dead Horse Point

The Legend of Dead Horse Point: Cowboys corralled wild mustangs on the Point, then chose the horses they wanted. One time, for some unknown reason, horses were left corralled on the waterless point where they died of thirst.

CANYONLANDS NATIONAL PARK

Canyonlands preserves a colorful landscape eroded into countless canyons, mesas and buttes by the Colorado River and its tributaries. The rivers divide the park into four districts: the Island in the Sky, the Needles, the Maze and the rivers themselves. While these areas share a primitive desert atmosphere, each retains its own character and offers different opportunities for exploration.

We also spent time relaxing at our hotel room.

We went to the Farmer's Market in Clearfield and the boys. The balloon guy was there and made them a "Yoshi" and a"Mario" balloons. It was fun!

Waterslide Fun Again!

We were busy last Saturday and at the same time having a lot of fun! Earlier during the day, the primary had an activity. They made a picture frame to put the picture of the temple they want. They didn't get to bring the finished frame as they would be displayed on our ward activity.

After the primary activity we had a High Priest Summer Social for the high priests and their family. We put up our water slide and the kids had a blast while the adults are enjoying the lechon and other delicious food.

The boys enjoyed some of the leftover lechon when we got home.

Weekend @ Las Vegas

We went to Las Vegas last weekend! Russ was dropping some boxes and me and the kids tagged along so we can spend the weekend together.. We didn't do much since it was a short trip but we had fun though it was really hot there...

We did a few shopping at the Premium Outlet Mall.

The boys got to ride a few rides and had fun!

We had lunch @ our favorite place Jollibee. Yum!

We were swimming at the hotel's pool.

And stopped to see the Virgin River Canyon Recreation Area on the Arizona strip.

Group Camping

We did a group camping lasts weekend @ Willard Bay. They were 8 of us (8 families) and everybody had a blast! The next day we went swimming, boating and jet skiing. What a fun way to spend out weekend!

Martin Harris: The Man Who Knew

Last Friday ( July 29) we went to Clarkston to watch the pageant Martin Harris: The Man Who Knew- A historical, musical play about the life of Martin Harris, one of the Three Witnesses of the origin and authenticity of the Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ, and the epic struggle to publish it. The pageant was very well done and we love watching LDS pageants as a family.

The pageant was held at Martin Harris Memorial Amphitheater, near the Clarkston Cemetery, the final resting place of Martin Harris. Before the pageant began, we got to see Martin Harris gravesite.

They had some activities before the pageant. The boys tried playing some of the games pioneers used to play and the boys enjoyed playing them too!

I took the kids to Gateway yesterday and they had so much fun. We went to Discovery Gateway together with Elsa & Janellle. We rode the Frontrunner to and from Salt Lake. The boys had a blast!
